And I stop for a drink
And all that the barman
Asks for, is Change
"I wasn't the best bloke

"But God, did we have merry times..."

With the promise of greener pastures"

Three tears came down
One for the memories
One for the pain
One for the blokes whom I'll visit again

And Time, the horse, neighed
And we walked; Time with its plans grand
And I with my modest share of bland

I don't know what I did right
And who I wronged
But all the heart in me
Hails proudly:
Not a sun would differently fall
If Time were to gallop back...
